THe Hills > Grey's Anatomy

As if people were not under the impression that The Hills starlet Kristen Cavallari was concieted or obnoxious, she proves it once again. At the Rock the Kasbah charity event in Hollywood, Miss Cavallari was quoted as saying The Hills was "the number one show and we are doing really well." She even went as far as to say that it was doing better than ABC's hit Grey's Anatomy. Oh really Kristen? Lets look at those ratings and see if that is the case shall we. Since Kristen replaced Lauren Conrad on the reality show, the ratings have been dismal, starting out with only 2 million viewers the first episode and 1.72 million viewers the second episode. These rating slipups have been blamed alsmost entirly on Kristen. To this, she claims, "At the end of the day it's not up to me to make a great TV show. It's the whole crew, the whole cast. It's not just on me. I think to put all that pressure on me is pretty unfair."

The Hills has been one of my favorite shows ever since it first aired. One of the main reasons I loved the show was because of Lauren Conrad. I liked her as a person and semi respected her...as you as you can respect a scripted reality star. When I found out last spring that the show would no longer be centered around her and that it would focus on her, I was disappointed. I think she is manipulative and just a nasty, for lack of a better term, person in general. I think the entire reason that she was choosen was because she would highten the drama factor, which is understandable because thats what the show is based on. It is obviously not coming off well to fans, or former fans I guess I should say.

Taylor Squared...loveee it.

After being spotted at two Taylor Swift concerts and seen canoodling with the country crooner afterwards, it seems that Twilight Saga star Taylor Lautner will be the subject of the next country hit. Taylore squared was spotted in L.A. together at a hockey game. The same named duo have been linked since they began filming Valentine's Day together. This could quite possibly be the most attractive teen couple out there. Let me just say that Taylor Swift is one lucky girl...I am sure many other twilighters feel the same way. Also being a fan of Swift's music, I hope this relationship soon ends up on my ipod in the form of a new hit!

Bleedin' Love...seriously!!

Oh my goodness. I hope this story is just as upsurd to you our there in cyberland as it is to me. Yesterday, "Bleedin' Love" singer and Simon Cowell favorite Leona Lewis was puched by a fan at her CD signing in London. No, you did not read that wrong...the singer, said to be the next Whitney Houston, was PUNCHED! Apparently after signing autographs for 90 minutes, a strange man came up and hit the pop diva in the side of the head. It was not serious enough for Lewis to have to be taken to the hospital, however, on lookers say she was "visably disturbed and shaken." Rightfully so! Im sorry, but people these days are just crazy.

Finally Sophia!

Most of you probably will not enjoy this post but for my fellow One Tree Hill fans, Sophia Bush is finally getting back out there. Since her split with short-time hubby and former One Tree Hill star Chad Michael Murry, her love life has been understandably out of the public eye. Have no fear my fellow Sophia lovers, she is back.

Apparently the set is a very comfortable place for Miss Bush to find love. She is now romaticly linked with her on-screen boyfriend Austin Nichols. Lets hope he is much, much less of a jerk then some of her previous blunders...thanks Chad.

Jon and Kate part 1,000,000,000

Seriously, I cannot believe that I even have the story blog about them. This is pretty ridiulous. Because of my recent ailment, stupid swine flu, I have had lots of down time to catch up on school work and of course my celebrity gossip. Instead of enjoying this nice break, as much as one can with H1N1, I have been plagued with yet another turn in the extremely over played Jon and Kate Plus 8 saga. This week, TLC announced that the famed reality show, which centers around the ex-duo and their eight kids, would be renamed Kate plus 8 and would focus on Kate's new attempt at single-motherhood. Now I know that anyone who is familar at all with the story, and I mean if you aren't...where have you been?, it is no surprise that Jon Gosselin had to have his own story since he was being kicked out of the limelight. He is now completely changing his partying tune and wants his kids off the air. He even went so far as to stall his divorce with his estranged wife and claiming he wants to go to counseling. WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?! It was not a month ago that Jon was claiming he found his new soulmate and was ready to move on. Is this just ANOTHER publicity stunt? I think so, but stay tunned to find out.
