Thank You Mr. West

I could not have started my celebrity gossip at a better time thanks to Mr. Kanye West. Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few days, you know about his outburst and complete rudeness towards country crossover artist, Taylor Swift. As the young and talented Miss Swift was accepting her award for best female video at the 2009 MTV VMAs, Kanye West hopped up on stage and snatched the microphone out of her hand. "Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’ll let you finish, but BeyoncĂ© has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!” Kanye exclaimed. After this completely uncalled for outburst, Kanye West was ejected from the night's festivities. Beyonce later went on to allow Taylor Swift back up on stage when her video, "Single Ladies," won the night's top honors. Kanye West later apologized on Jay Leno's new show for his outburst saying that he was "ashamed" of his actions. Several celebrities were quoted as being very disappointed in the rapper and President Obama was even quoted off the record as referring to him as a "jackass."

This sory completely baffles me. This is not the first time this man has been caught up in a scandal where his mouth got the best of him. At a Hurrican Katrina benefit on live televison, Kayne West claimed that the reason more help was not being sent to New Orleanes because "President Bush hates black people." What gives Kanye the right to be blatenly disrespectful to people? Do not get me worng, he is a musical genius in my eyes, but that in no way gives him the right to have insane outburst everytime he feels something is wrong. If just any regular Joe had hopped up on stage, they would almost certainly be fined, or in jail. Alcohol influence has caught the blame for this but thats not really a good excuse either. It was not even your video, Mr. West. Please grow up and learn that while you may have an opinion, everyone in the world does not need to know it all the time.

k,thanks.
