While he might be a master at driving a golf ball, driving a car is another story for Tiger Woods.
Friday morning, the golf legend backed his Escalade over a fire hydrant and then into a tree. Because he was knocked unconscious, his wife was forced to take a golf course to the car's window to get him out. The athlete suffered only minor injuries and was released from the hospital the same day in good condition.
State troopers were scheduled to talk to Mr. Woods Saturday untill his agent emerged from his house stating that Tiger was "unable to meet with officers at this time." If this had been any normal person, would this fly? I think not.

I also read that the crash was a result of a fight Tiger had with his wife over an alleged affair. Can't really trust Perez Hilton though, can you? No matter the cause, it's a scary situation, but I agree with you. His celebrity status is allowing him too many passes in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI am so tired of hearing about him and that darn crash! He's human, he makes mistakes. It just seems to me that the press is blowing it into something it isn't. But I guess that is how they make their money.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you there Keisha. Sometimes I think that half of the things that the press leaks out are lies anyway. Like the crash for example, he made a mistake and the press blew everything up saying that he was having an affair with two other women, like seriously? They should be more concerned with whether he's ok or not and not making the situation worse.
ReplyDeleteWhile you guys make very vaild points, this comes with the territory of making the decsion to become a celebrity. Tiger Woods choose to play golf professionally. He choose to take an insame amount of endorsements. Woods had to have been aware that the shady things he was doing in his personal life would come out eventually...it always does. It might not be the right thing, but people are going to snoop around in his business.
ReplyDeleteI am a Tiger fan, but what I am not a fan of is cheating and lying. He did something wrong and is now having to accept the consequences.
